We value opportunities to share the light of Christ with our community.
Below are just a few ways that you can join our efforts throughout Northeast Ohio and beyond:
Habitat for Humanity
Every other year, Church of the Lakes builds a Habitat for Humanity house. Habitat for Humanity believes that every man, woman and child should have a decent, safe and affordable place to live. Many people in our community, right around the corner from us, do not have a safe and affordable place to live. We strive to rectify this by taking the initiative to both fund and build a Habitat House. We have completed 13 houses thus far and we are building our 14th in the summer of 2026. Once the house is built, the partner family, who works alongside of us in construction, purchase the remaining mortgage on the house with a no-profit, no-interest loan. Habitat for Humanity is a great organization to truly be the hands and feet of Christ by offering a home for someone to live in and by sharing the love of Christ in the process.
