On Sunday, October 18th, Helping Children Worldwide will be presenting a way that our congregation can help empower and enable the work of the Child Reintegration Center and other similar organizations in Sierra Leone. Our support will impact the lives of up to 250 children and the deeply impoverished and vulnerable adults who care for them. Regular monthly support of caseworkers helps with building systems of care that support entire villages and neighborhoods of families with children, eliminating the need for orphanages. This system gives the children and their families a hand up (not a hand out). We hope you will join us that Sunday to hear more about how you can support the work being done in Sierra Leone.
