DESCRIPTION:The Carols of Christmas- Children’s Christmas Party\nYou are invited to our Children’s Christmas Party on Wednesday December 3rd. The Children’s Christmas party is for children in Kindergarten – 6th grades. The cost is only $5 and can be paid at the door. Dinner begins at 5:30 pm immediately followed with the Christmas party. \nSing the songs of Christmas. Children will get to experience the Christmas story through four classic Christmas carols performed by various Church of the Lakes chorus groups. DESCRIPTION:Our new organist\, Dean Wagner\, will present an organ recital featuring a variety of music to show off our excellent pipe organ. \nThe program will include music by Johnson\, Pachelbel\, de Grigny\, Bach\, Peeters\, Bovet\, and Mendelssohn. \nBe prepared\, this music will even take us to a bull fight\, you will have to come to find out what that is all about! \nThe organ is able to move out to the center of the Chancel so that you are able to see as well as listen. DESCRIPTION:Stark County JFS – Children Services Division organizes an annual art exhibit called the Heart Gallery\, which raises awareness about foster care and adoption in Stark County. The Heart Gallery pairs local artists with children in foster care who are awaiting adoption to create powerful\, heartfelt portraits. These portraits are then displayed in community spaces throughout the county to help share the children’s stories and bring attention to their need for loving\, permanent homes. \nThe Heart Gallery will be displayed in our entryway November 2nd – November 7th. \nYou can view the gallery during normal church and church office hours: \nSunday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm \nMonday – Friday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
