While not everyone can become a foster family\, we believe everyone can do something. \nOhio’s foster care system is in crisis. DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Ash Wednesday Service on February 18th at 7:30 pm in the Sanctuary & on livestream. This special worship service will have Pastor Robby Strock offering the message. The service will end with the congregation being invited to come forward to have a mark of ashes placed on their foreheads. The ashes remind us of our mortality while the shape of the cross points us the source of life eternal. \nChildcare will be available for this service for children under 5. \n  \n  \nAsh Wednesday is the beginning of Lent. This is a forty day season (excluding Sundays) prior to the celebration of Easter. Followers of Jesus Christ are asked to prepare for the celebration by confessing our sins and turning back towards our Savior who holds our life in the palm of His hand.

DESCRIPTION:Solving the Bible’s Toughest Cases!\nThis Winter kids will investigate Bible stories that tend to raise some serious questions. Kids will ask questions\, investigate the evidence\, and solve the case. During this detective themed TNT\, kids will learn that we can trust that God has a plan\, even if we don’t fully understand it. \nTNT “Together-N- Truth” is for children Kindergarten-4th grade. Our Fall semester is Wednesdays\, January 7th – March 18th. The cost is $5/week or $45 for the entire semester if paid in advance (this helps to cover the cost of dinner and supplies). \nOur explosive Wednesday evening programs ignite New Life through Jesus in children and youth by teaching the Word of God. DESCRIPTION:Stark County JFS – Children Services Division organizes an annual art exhibit called the Heart Gallery\, which raises awareness about foster care and adoption in Stark County. The Heart Gallery pairs local artists with children in foster care who are awaiting adoption to create powerful\, heartfelt portraits. These portraits are then displayed in community spaces throughout the county to help share the children’s stories and bring attention to their need for loving\, permanent homes. \nThe Heart Gallery will be displayed in our entryway November 2nd – November 7th. \nYou can view the gallery during normal church and church office hours: \nSunday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm \nMonday – Friday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
